REGIONAL MAT: BHS just misses state; Barnsdall titan is regional champ

Bartlesville High placed three wrestlers in sixth place in the Class 6A regionals but didn't earn a spot in state.

The trio of placers for the Bruins were Easton Olenberger (138), Adyn Peugh (190) and Colton Hainzinger (215).

Two other smaller area schools competed hard at the regionals and nailed down some noteworthy success.

BARNSDALL — The Panthers boasted the only regional champion from the area when Easton Malone won the Class 3A 215-pound regional title.

PAWHUSKA — Two Huskie grapplers advanced to the 3A state meet. They include: Corin Cass (113, 5th place) and Deacon Hendren (150, 4th place). A handful of other Pawhuska warriors finished sixth.
