Are you registered to vote?
Mar. 14—NORWALK — The Huron County Board of Elections is reminding citizens of Huron County that are not already registered, they must register to vote or change their name or address by Monday, April 3, in order to be eligible to vote in the May 2 primary/special election.
You are qualified to register to vote in Ohio if you meet all the following requirements:
—You are a citizen of the United States.
—You are 18 years old, or will be on or before the day of the Nov. 7, 2023 General Election.
—You will be a resident of Ohio at least thirty days before the election.
—You are not serving a sentence in a prison for a felony.
—You have not been declared incompetent for voting purposes by a probate court.
—You have not been permanently disfranchised for violations of the election laws.
The board office, located at 180 Milan Ave. in Norwalk, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. In addition, the office is open from 8:30 a.m. until 9 p.m. on Monday, April 3.
