Kelly’s Pot Pies & More now has a new store open in Greenfield. The business, which specializes in pot pies and desserts, has become a regular at Milwaukee area farmers markets and has now opened its second physical location.

The new store, which opened June 10, is at 3785 S. 108th St. in Greenfield, next to Salon Centric.

For now, the store's hours will be from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, though owner Kelly McGinnis said those hours could be subject to change depending on feedback from the community.

In addition to the two physical stores ― the original location of Kelly's Pot Pies is in East Troy ― McGinnis said they are also selling items at about 10 farmers markets a week. One of those is the Greenfield farmers market, which McGinnis said had an impact on choosing the location for the new store.

“We have just gotten a tremendous amount of support so far, so I'm really happy about that. I said if I ever open another store, it’s going to be in Greenfield, the community is just so supportive,” said McGinnis.

With additional freezer space that the new location provides, McGinnis will be able to continue supplying the area with her best-selling chicken pot pie and a variety of other pot pies and desserts.

McGinnis started her business with her husband, Pat McGinnis, in 2021 after decades in the food service industry.

“This has been a dream of mine for a long time, and I just never dreamt it would go off so great. It's just been a really exciting, fun thing to do. I just love it,” said McGinnis. “My husband is my partner and he is a great marketer. He brings them in and I satisfy them with our food. So we really make a good team.”

McGinnis wants to bring more than just pot pies to Greenfield. She’s hoping to make a positive impact on the community that has supported her small business.

“I've got lots of ideas for maybe teacher lunches and offering ready to eat dinners for families that can just come and pick them up. I just have all kinds of ideas that people should look forward to,” said McGinnis.
