Reichart, former 4-H Exhibit Association president, has died

LAFAYETTE, Ind. − Former Tippecanoe County Exhibit Association President, Frederick Reichart Jr., died Feb. 18.

Reichart was a 10-year 4-H member and a national 4-H Scholarship recipient in agriculture, according to his obituary. He served a variety of roles within 4-H in Lafayette, including township director, Exhibit Association vice president and president, as well as multiple committees including chair of the Livestock Auction.

In 2020, Reichart was recognized for his 42 years of service to Tippecanoe County 4-H, according to the obituary.

Reichart is survived by his wife of 61 years, Jane Barnett, as well as their four children.
