Reifsnyder goes wire-to-wire to win Lebanon County Amateur on first try
It's pretty safe to say that Blake Reifsnyder's decision to play in his first Lebanon County Amateur this weekend was a good one.
A Newmanstown resident and Sinking Spring native, Reifsnyder fairly dominated his first County Amateur, shooting three-over par 145 (71-74) to go wire to wire and produce a four-shot victory in the 26-player tourney, contested at Lebanon Valley Golf Course in Myerstown.
Justin Arnt, the 2020 champion, was the runner -up after a two-day total of 149 (75-74) and Derrik Brennan, who produced the low round of the day with a 73, was third with a score of 151, Jon Day (76-76 - 152) and Matt Anderson (77-76 - 153) rounded out the top five. Jared Brandt (79-75 - 154), Bill Massar, Jr. (74-80) and Kerry Wentling (78-80 - 158) made up the rest of the first flight.
Andrew Longenecker won the second flight with a 78-80- 158, while the third flight went to Steve O'Neal (77-86- 163).
