A hidden Colorado property like no other is grabbing serious attention on social media thanks to its picturesque beauty and remarkable views.

It features a 13-room retreat center along with 20 bedrooms and eight bathrooms and it’s listed for $3.5 million in Sedalia.

And the views? Well, they’re to die for.

“The property is enveloped by the Colorado Rockies and comprises extensive lush forest land with stunning rock outcroppings, creeks, two ponds, and a well-established road network throughout the property,” the listing on Zillow.com says.

Features on the compound include:

  • Main house

  • Caretaker’s cabin

  • Eight small cabins

  • Maintenance garage

  • “Other outbuildings”

“Visitors particularly appreciate the custom-built Treenet village that has drawn awe for hours on end, with hanging structures suspended on trees above a vibrant boulder garden,” the listing says. “Further along the various trails, other custom-built art pieces await discovery. The Korean Christian Church initially established this property and subsequently it has been stewarded and improved by Everland and The Sanctuary of the Inner Compass.”

Its use permit is “religious retreat with 25 (people) over 25 weekends,” the listing notes, which caught the attention of fans of Friday Night Zillow, a Twitter segment that highlights interesting homes on the market.

“Seriously we should buy it if we can figure out how to lobby for less restrictive zoning. It’s less than an hour from Denver,” segment creator Steven Dennis said when tweeting photos of the house.

And folks agreed.

The showstopper is not my style at all, but somehow I love every single room. The details are amazing,” one person said.

“Hey I (live) near Sedalia! Yeah you see some funky properties out here, every once in a while people get creative with their interpretation of the good life. Amazing views though!” someone tweeted.

Great area to live, lots of hiking, fly fishing and inner tubing down the South Platte River,” another suggested.

“Uh, getting some serious Overlook Hotel vibes here,” one person said of the hotel from “The Shining.”

Sedalia is about 30 miles south of Denver.
