Amy's Baking Company may no longer exist in Scottsdale, but the restaurant's controversial history lives on.

Who could forget the line, "Here's your pizza; go (expletive) yourself?"

In what's said to be the only instance in the history of "Kitchen Nightmares," host and chef Gordon Ramsay left the production, unable to continue working with owners Amy and Salomon "Samy" Bouzaglo. The episode brought Season 6 to a dramatic end, airing on Fox on May 10, 2013.

Ramsay called the Bouzaglos "two owners who I could not help, and it wasn't because I didn't want to; it was because they are incapable of listening."

Within hours, viewers had left thousands of comments on the restaurant's social media profiles and online forums.

Here's a look back at what happened after Amy's Baking Company was featured on "Kitchen Nightmares" and how you can stream the Bouzaglos' episodes of "Kitchen Nightmares."

How to watch Amy's Baking Company's 'Kitchen Nightmares' episodes

"Kitchen Nightmares" went off the air in 2014, but you can still watch most seasons online.

The show is available to subscribers on Hulu and Discovery+. It's also streaming on the following services for free, though some may require ads or signing up with your email.

Just know that the streaming season numbers don't correspond to the original series' season numbers. To stream the Bouzaglos' initial 2013 episode, look for Season 5, Episode 16. Amy's Baking Company appears in a follow-up episode on Season 6, Episode 1.

Amy's Baking Company: What went wrong?

Amy's Baking Company made an impact in its eight years of operation in the Village at Shea shopping center at 7366 E. Shea Blvd., Scottsdale.

In its "Kitchen Nightmares" episode, Samy Bouzaglo admits to taking servers' tips, Ramsay accuses the owners of serving frozen packaged ravioli and labeling it freshly made and Amy Bouzaglo fires a server.

After receiving a flood of criticism online about the antics on "Kitchen Nightmares," the restaurant closed briefly before hosting a reservation-only week-long "grand reopening" event that had security patrolling outside to keep media and other onlookers away.

Then came the local and national headlines.

In 2014, TMZ shared a video in which Amy had to restrain Samy as he appeared to wave a silver object — which some thought was a knife, but Samy contended was a pen — at a customer outside the restaurant.

In the year leading up to Amy's Baking Company's closure, Amy self-published a cookbook and the restaurant took part in an Arizona food festival without any incidents.

The Associated Press reported in July 2015 that Amy intended to close the restaurant and pivot to baking for other local restaurants. She denied that the decision was due to financial problems.

Amy's Baking Company — at least the storefront — was no more by September.

Who are Amy and Samy?

Amy and Samy Bouzaglo were married for a few years before they opened Amy's Baking Company.

Shortly after the restaurant's opening, Amy served nearly a year in federal prison beginning in 2008. In 2003, she had pleaded guilty to misuse of a Social Security number.

On the day of the restaurant's reopening in 2013, The Arizona Republic reported that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement had opened a case to revoke Samy Bouzaglo's residency status two years prior. Samy, who was born in Morocco and had Israeli citizenship, had been in a removal hearing that week.

Where are Amy and Samy now?

The Bouzaglos appear to have moved on from Arizona.

Amy posts pictures of cakes, tartlets and eclairs that usually feature floral designs on her Instagram profile. She also operates an Amazon storefront, too.
