Remnants of Storm Julia Trigger Severe Flooding in Acapulco

Severe flooding hit the streets of Acapulco on Mexico’s Pacific coast on Tuesday, October 11, as the remnants of storm Julia brought heavy rain to the resort town.

Footage posted to Twitter shows flooding along Cuauhtemoc Avenue on Tuesday evening.

The impacts of storm Julia prompted authorities to close schools in several areas, including Acapulco, on Wednesday.
