Car wraps have exploded in popularity these past few years. Wrapping your car is a cheaper, less permanent alternative to repainting, and gives owners a virtually limitless level of customization options for their cars.

But caring for a wrap isn't something most owners think about until, of course, something goes wrong. Scuffs and scratches can happen on wraps too. But, like paint, they're just as repairable with the right methods. Larry Kosilla of AMMO NYC put together a helpful video demonstrating how to remove things like rubber and marks from a vinyl wrap, demonstrating the process on a 911 GT3 race car.

Though the methods are similar to removing scuffs on paint, there are a few key differences. Kosilla uses way more cleaning product on the wrap versus paint, and uses more of a side-to-side oscillating motion rather than a traditional circular rotation.

Even if you don't have a wrap to unscuff, Kosilla's video is still insightful. Take a look for yourself right here.
