Rent the Runway's Online Sample Sale Is Here and Prices Are Dirt Cheap
First Amazon Prime Day, then the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and now this... (It was nice knowing you, paycheck.)
Say goodbye to your bank balance this summer, because Rent the Runway is the next company to kick off larger-than-life discounts. Their semiannual online sample sale begins today, and it's honestly bonkers how good these deals are.
With designer clothing and accessories up to 80 percent off, and brands like LoveShackFancy, Rebecca Minkoff, byTiMO, Opening Ceremony, RHODE, DVF, Theory, Tibi and more, it's going to be tough to top this massive sale.
Of course, these items are at liquidation-level (everything must go!!!) discount prices because the items have been previously rented out to RTR members. So, technically, most everything is pre-worn—and sometimes, not lightly. We're talking heavy wear for a straight month at a time, a quick dry-clean, then another heavy wear when the next Rent the Runway subscriber rents the item out.
But $69 for a printed Theory dress (originally $345)? That's a bargain we can't afford to pass up. (TBH, after all these summer sales, we can't afford it regardless, but, whatever...)
