Update: Renton police found the 3 missing children who may have been with homeless mother

The Renton Police Department has found the three children who were missing since January 22.

They were found safe and are now with a family member, according to Renton police.

“Thank you to everyone who kept these three young ones in your heart - and for those who kept a lookout for them, as well! We love our Renton Community!” the Renton Police Department said in an email.

Destiny, “Blue,” and Dutchess Piggee were last seen at the Grammercy Apartments in the 17000 block of 120th Lane Southeast at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Police were notified by the children’s guardian at 9:30 p.m. that they remained missing after an extensive search by friends and family.

Investigators said it is possible the three siblings could have been with their mother, 42-year-old Destany Cooper, who has limited visitation access and is currently homeless.

Destiny and Blue attend Nelson Middle School, and Dutchess attends Cascade Elementary in Renton.

No more details will be released, Renton Police said.
