REO Speedwagon and Styx bring their Live and UnZoomed Tour to Raleigh

Powerhouse Top 40 rock bands from the late 1970s and early ’80s, REO Speedwagon and Styx, brought their high-energy tour to Raleigh, N.C.’s Coastal Credit Union Music Park at Walnut Creek, Wednesday night, August 10, 2022.
Many in the crowd now have children hovering around the same age as they were when the bands were cranking out Top 40 hits.
Loverboy opened the show with a set cut short due to lightning, followed by Styx, whose set included hits like “Blue Collar Man,” “Lady,” “Come Sail Away” and “Renegade.”
REO’s high-powered set included hits “Don’t Let Him Go,” “Take It On the Run,” “Ridin’ the Storm Out” and “Roll With the Changes.”
