Back in January, during one of his many high-speed excursions on the crazy train, Arizona Republican U.S. Rep. Paul Gosar went on a maniacal rant against Gen. Mark Milley, accusing the chair of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of being a “traitor” and promising some type of congressional retribution by the Republican-controlled House.

Over the weekend, Gosar drove his high-speed crazy train completely off the rails, using his taxpayer-funded newsletter to attack Milley in a completely unhinged, rambling, homophobic rant in which he suggested the retiring general deserves to be “hung.”

Gosar, who previously called the mob attacking the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, “peaceful protesters,” in his newsletter blamed the insurrectionist violence on U.S. Rep. Nancy Pelosi, while suggesting that Milley, whom Gosar called “the homosexual-promoting-BLM-activist Chairman of the military joint chiefs,” delayed deploying the National Guard.

Always ready to expand his unproven and unbalanced conspiracies, Gosar added, “Of course, we now know that the deviant Milley was coordinating with Nancy Pelosi to hurt President Trump, and treasonously working behind Trump’s back.”

Gosar says the general should 'be hung'

Even then, after having served up what any accomplished crackpot would consider a full plate of specious delusion, Gosar continued.

He said, “In a better society, quislings like the strange sodomy-promoting General Milley would be hung.”

What’s most shocking about this is that no one — not one of us — is shocked by this.

It’s Gosar.

Gosar gets chummy: With Holocaust-denying website (again)

He has previously used his same House newsletter to post material from an extremist website that has praised Hitler and called the Holocaust “the Holohoax.”

He was censured by the House for posting a photoshopped anime video to his Twitter and Instagram accounts showing him appearing to kill Democratic U.S. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and attacking President Joe Biden.

His siblings tried to warn us, many times

Back in 2018, six of Gosar’s siblings endorsed his opponent and appeared in a campaign ad against him.

At the time, his sister Joan said, “I think my brother has traded a lot of the values we had at our kitchen table.”

His brother Tim said, “It’s intervention time. And intervention time means that you go to vote and you go to vote Paul out.”

His brother David said at the time, “I’m just hoping either in this election cycle or next, the people get the idea that he’s just not fit for that office and he needs to be removed.”

Paul Gosar has only gotten wackier

It hasn’t happened. Not in Gosar’s Republican stronghold of a district. No matter what he said or did.

His brother David more recently has said of Gosar, “I consider him a traitor to this country. I consider him a traitor to his family. He doesn’t see it. He’s disgraced and dishonored himself.”

David Gosar tried to warn us five years ago that things with his brother would only get worse.

He said of Paul Gosar, “He’d just keep getting nuttier and nuttier.”
