Report: Bills, NFL 2021 schedule to be released in May

The Buffalo Bills already know their opponents, but we’re still waiting to find out the order of these games. The NFL reportedly has a target for when we’ll find that out.

According to Sports Business Journal, during the second week in May, the league will be releasing their full 2021 schedule. Like every year, the NFL keeps us on our toes the entire 365 days once again.

While May is not like March (free agency) and April (NFL Draft), at least there’s something now with the schedule release. We also will have random offseason workouts throughout the spring and summer prior to training camp, but the schedule is fun to breakdown, too.

This year’s schedule release also has an extra nugget added to it. Is the NFL going to add a 17th game? In the last collective bargaining agreement between the league and players, an option was included for the increase.

Perhaps this is the time we’ll find out if the 17th game will be locked in? If the contest is included, we recently found out that added team will be the Washington Football Team for the Bills. Buffalo also faces their own usual division rivals, plus the AFC South, other AFC first-place finishers in conference divisions (Chiefs, Steelers), and the NFC South.

Here’s the Bills’ full list of upcoming opponents for reference:
