The report says while the office is working towards digitizing the city's records, it needs a plan to protect the city's most important info. That includes personal data of Denver residents and documents showing the history of Denver.

Records should not be stored in basements, attics, or near any water pipes, such as the ones pictured here. Clark Paul Lopez says these issues are a high priority and they will take quick action.
