Former Dallas Cowboys coordinator Kellen Moore is expected to sign a contract with the Philadelphia Eagles to become the team’s offensive coordinator according to reports by the NFL Network.

Moore coached with the Cowboys from 2018-22 serving as quarterbacks coach and offensive coordinator during his tenure.

Under Moore, the Cowboys led the NFL in scoring and yards during the 2021 season.

The Cowboys and Moore parted ways mutually after the 2022 season following a disappointing 19-12 loss to the San Francisco 49ers in the NFC Divisional round.

Following Moore’s tenure, Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy took over playcalling duties and led Dallas to the top-scoring offense (29.9 ppg) in the NFL during the 2023 season.

After Moore left the Cowboys, he quickly found another job with the Los Angeles Chargers but will now reportedly depart to his third team in three seasons.

The Eagles were looking for a new offensive coordinator after winning only one of their final seven games including an NFC Wild Card loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in part due to an offense that pundits said had become stagnant and predictable.
