Injury news continues to go from bad to worse for the New York Giants, who are now likely to be without left tackle Andrew Thomas (foot/ankle) and wide receiver Kadarius Toney (ankle) for some time.

Thomas suffered an ankle injury on the opposite leg from his foot injury, while Toney reaggravated a lingering ankle injury in a 38-11 loss to the Los Angeles Rams this past Sunday.

Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News was the first to report on the duo likely missing some games.

This Giants season is on the verge of skidding off the rails. Wide receiver Kadarius Toney and left tackle Andrew Thomas both are likely to miss time with their injuries, the News has learned.

Toney aggravated his right ankle injury and is being further evaluated, but sources have indicated it’s more serious than a simple sprain.

Thomas now has injuries to both feet. In fact, he was hobbling to keep his injured left foot off the ground when his right ankle got rolled up on in Sunday’s blowout loss to the Rams.

In an otherwise down year, Thomas and Toney have been two reasons for optimism. Without them on the field, the Giants are a substantially worse team.
