The Jacksonville Jaguars have requested to interview Indianapolis Colts quarterbacks coach Marcus Brady for their vacant offensive coordinator role, per Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

After the Jaguars hired Urban Meyer to be their next head coach to replace Doug Marrone, they will now be on the search for an offensive coordinator. Brady is starting to generate some interest around the league given what he’s done with the Colts over the last three seasons.

Having worked under Frank Reich and with quarterbacks like Andrew Luck, Jacoby Brissett and Philip Rivers over the last three seasons, it makes sense that Brady would start to get some looks.

Brady is also thought to potentially be in the running for the offensive coordinator role with the Houston Texans but that’s only if Leslie Frazier gets hired to be their next head coach.

The Colts seem to have plenty of assistants getting attention around the league. Offensive coordinator Nick Sirianni seems to be a finalist for the Eagles head coach job. Defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus is in the running for the Texans head coach job. Now, defensive backs coach Jonathan Gannon is getting looks from the Bears and the Chargers to be their defensive coordiantor.

This will be something to watch over the next week or so if Brady—or anyone else—gets hired for an external promotion.
