Report: Mac Jones suffering from back spasms, availability against Pittsburgh in question

Patriots quarterback Mac Jones is suffering from back spasms and could miss next Sunday’s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, according to NFL insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero.

According to the report, there is a “chance” Jones is under center next week as the Patriots search for their first win of the season in Pittsburgh.

Jones suffered the injury during the Patriots’ 20-7 loss against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.

Cameras captured the sophomore signal caller entering the Patriots’ X-ray room after the game. He was also pulled from postgame media availability.
