Report: Meghan Markle plans second baby shower at Buckingham Palace

The Duchess of Sussex is ready for round two!

Just weeks after traveling to New York City for her first baby shower, reports reveal that the 37-year-old royal is already planning her second one across the pond. The celebration was initially supposed to be held at Meghan and Harry's new home at Frogmore Cottage, but due to renovations, the shower will most likely be moved to Buckingham Palace.

The event is said to be on a much smaller scale than her first one, with only 5 to 6 close friends expected to attend. Among those reported on the guest list include Victoria Beckham and Meghan's mom, Doria Ragland, who will be traveling from Los Angeles. Her sister-in-law, Kate Middleton, is also expected to be included.

Meghan's first shower stirred quite the controversy due to its celebrity turnout and lavishness. The celebration was held inside the largest hotel penthouse suite in the United States, the 10,000 square-foot Grand Penthouse inside The Mark Hotel. It's priced at a whopping $75,000 a night.

Guests including Amal Clooney, Jessica Mulroney, Gayle King and Serena Williams were treated to music by harpist Erin Hill, Away suitcases, a two-tiered cake and lavish dessert buffet, amongst extravagant gift bags.
