Report: Will Smith Movie 'Emancipation' Will No Longer Film In Georgia Due To New Voting Rights Bill

On Monday, actor Will Smith and director Antoine Fuqua announced their movie "Emancipation," will no longer be filmed in Georgia due to the new voting law that was passed in late March by Governor Brian Kemp.

- And there's more fallout over those controversial voting laws like the one in Georgia. Actor Will Smith and director Antoine Fuqua will move production of their upcoming film Emancipation. That's according to a press release sent out. In part, it says, "we cannot in good conscience provide economic support to a government that enacts regressive voting laws." Emancipation was scheduled to begin filming on June 21.
