Tornado Causes Heavy Damage in Annapolis, Maryland

Tornado damage was reported in Annapolis, Maryland, on September 1, as the remnants of Tropical Depression Ida continued to impact the northeastern United States.

A tornado was confirmed in the region by radar, the National Weather Service said. This drone footage shows damage above West Street.

The remnants of post-Hurricane Ida were expected to bring widespread rain and “life-threatening” flash flooding as the storm moved through the Northeast, according to the National Weather Service.
