A film reportedly focusing on a young Donald Trump has tapped Marvel star Sebastian Stan, “Succession” actor Jeremy Strong and Maria Bakalova, of “Borat Subsequent Moviefilm” fame, for its cast.

“The Apprentice” is “an exploration of power and ambition set in a world of corruption and deceit. It’s a mentor-protege story that charts the origins of an American dynasty,” the production team behind the movie told ITK in a statement.

Without mentioning the former president’s name, the statement said the movie from director Ali Abbasi is “filled with larger than life characters” and “reveals the moral and human cost of a culture defined by winners and losers.”

While multiple reports said Stan would play a young Trump — with Strong as attorney and mentor Roy Cohn, and Bakalova as Trump’s first wife Ivana — “The Apprentice” production team would not confirm the actors’ roles.

The film, which finished principal photography this week, was written by journalist Gabriel Sherman and executive produced by the “Loudest Voice in the Room” writer Grant Johnson and Amy Baer in association with Kinematics as the financier. Daniel Bekerman of Scythia Films, Profile Pictures’s Jacob Jarek, and Ruth Treacy of Tailored Films are among the project’s producers.
