Reports: 4th nor'easter in 3 weeks yields snow day from DC to NYC, travel mayhem

For the fourth time this month, a major nor'easter is tracking through the Northeast, packing roads with snow and prompting officials to cancel school across the region.

Two hundred accidents were reported around Baltimore by Tuesday afternoon, and two people were killed in a crash in Pennsylvania as snow covered roadways.

"Anyone from just north of Baltimore to Philadelphia, New York City and close to Boston may easily pick up 6-12 inches of snow with the storm with locally higher amounts," said AccuWeather Senior Storm Warning Meteorologist Rich Putnam.

Coastal impacts are also possible, although this storm is likely to cause more moderate flooding and beach erosion compared to earlier storms this month.
