Despite reports about her absence from the limelight, Emma Watson is not retiring from acting.

As rumors swirled on Thursday about the “Harry Potter” star’s early departure from show business, reps say that is not the case.

Watson’s manger, Jason Weinberg, told Entertainment Weekly that while “Emma’s social media accounts are dormant … her career isn’t.”

The idea that the 30-year-old British actress retired from the profession gained traction after a celebrity gossip site claimed that “dormant” was “movie-speak for she’s ‘given up acting.’”

The outlet also suggested that she was doing so in order to spend more time with her boyfriend, California businessman Leo Robinton.

In the spotlight since she was 10 years old, Watson kicked off her acting career as Hermione Granger in Warner Bros. blockbuster “Harry Potter” franchise.

Her most recent role came in 2019, when she starred as Meg March in Greta Gerwig’s “Little Women.”
