Republican Arizona candidate tours Mexico border
STORY: The former news anchor emphasized the need for border security and talked about her plans to slow down illegal immigration. She said her first step is finishing what former President Donald Trump started.
“Our border policy is very involved. It's very aggressive. We're going to do a number of things. For starters, we're going to take back this material here. Legislature is going to declare it basically abandoned federal property. And we're going to take it back and start constructing President Trump's wall," she said.
Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, Blake Masters, echoes may of the same talking points while blasting his democratic opponent, Mark Kelly, for "failing to secure the border two years ago".
