Republican Dan Cox running for Maryland governor

Maryland state Delegate Dan Cox sits atop the ballot as the Republican nominee for governor. The 48-year-old is an election denier who is endorsed by former President Donald Trump and has refused to say whether he'll accept the results of this election. But he did open up about his family and background and the role it would play if he wins in November. The freshman lawmaker from Frederick County is pro-Second Amendment, staunchly anti-abortion rights and opposed to government-issued public health orders like vaccine mandates. Cox said the stay-at-home orders did a number on children. Cox and his wife have 10 children ranging in age from 7 months old to 25.
