The third Republican presidential debate wrapped up Wednesday night in Miami, where five candidates not named Donald Trump — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley, Sen. Tim Scott of South Carolina and businessman Vivek Ramaswamy — took the stage hoping to put a dent in his dominating lead in the race for the 2024 GOP nomination.

But none emerged as a credible alternative to the former president and current frontrunner.
