Rescue Bear Not Impressed With Ice Blocking Her From Taking a Dip
A bear was less-than-impressed when wintry weather stopped her from taking a dip in the pond at a New York wildlife sanctuary.
Footage by the Orphaned Wildlife Center, located in Otisville, shows the rescued bear, named Jenny, inspecting the thick layer of ice covering the pond, even trying to break the frozen surface using her paws.
“Jenny is NOT pleased with the state of the pond. How is a woman to bathe in these conditions?” the center quipped in its YouTube caption.
The center nurtures orphaned animals, in the hope they can be returned to the wild, and often shares videos and updates about the animals in its care to its YouTube channel and Facebook page. Credit: Kerry Clair via Storyful
