Rescuers Search for Survivors After Partial Building Collapse in Batumi, Georgia
Several people were missing after a seven-story residential building partially collapsed on Friday afternoon, October 8, in the Georgian port city of Batumi, reports said.
Emergency responders were searching for “10-15” people in the rubble, Minister of Internal Affairs Vakhtang Gomelauri told reporters.
Video taken by Batumi resident Dato Trapaidze shows smoke and dust filling 26 May Street after the collapse.
