Bar Room

Time: 5-9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 at Bar Room - Lubbock, 5217 98th St. #500.

Details: The Bar Room will have a Valentine's Day dinner. Main dishes will be Chicken Carbonara, Filet Mignon Caprese or Salmon Piccata. A dessert flight will include chocolate raspberry mousse, chocolate covered strawberries and tiramisu. Dessert cocktails will be Champagne for Two, Over the Sunset, Chocolate Strawberry Matrini and the Pomegranate Rose Gin Fizz.

Love, Truffles & Wine

Time: 7 p.m. Feb. 11 at the Barrel Room of Llano Winery, 3426 E. FM 1585.

Details: There will be four courses with wine pairings created by Chef Angie Ragan and Llano’s Matt Bostic. Main course options are New York Strip or Salmon & Romesco Sauce. There are only 50 seats available for this event.

Cost: $225. People can add tableside microplaned truffle for an additional $75.

Pecan Grill at The Overton Hotel

Time: 5-10 p.m. on Feb. 11 and Feb. 14.

Details: Pecan Grill will have a four-course meal for lovers on Feb. 11 and Feb. 14. The menu includes:

  • Appetizer options: Smoked Beef Oscar, Smoked Salmon and Dill Cheese Crostini, Seafood Cocktail, or Baba Ghanoush.

  • Salad options: Citrus Endive Salad, Pecan Grill Salad, Wilted Spinach Salad, or Smoked Crab and Vegetable Bisque.

  • Entrees: Veal Osso Bucco, Red Snapper, Tournedos of Beef Marsala, or Chinese Lacquered Duck.

  • Desserts: Raspberry Champagne Sorbet, Pecan Blackberry Cheesecake Parfait, Peanut White Chocolate Cake, or Espresso Torte Chocolate Dessert for 2.

Cost: $140 per couple, or $180 for dinner with wine pairings.

Stella's / Manhatt9n

Time: Lunch from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and dinner from 4-10 p.m. at Stella's, 6015 82nd Street, Suite #1.

Details: There are limited lunch and dinner reservations for meals, which will have curated menus. The dinner will have live music by Micah Burns from 6-9 p.m.

The Midnight Shift at Cotton Court

Time: Tuesday, Feb. 14, at The Midnight Shift, 1610 Broadway.

Details: The Midnight Shift will offer a three course dinner with a New York Strip entrée and a silk tart dessert, along with three themed cocktails. The hotel is also offering a deal for guests from Feb. 12-18, called Love is in the Air. The hotel package includes "accommodations for two, a bottle of champagne, a mini dessert platter and complimentary breakfast for two at The Midnight Shift."

Cost: For the dinner, it is $75 per person, or $150 per couple. Room rates start at $209 a night.

The Nicolett

Time: Seatings available for 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Feb. 10 and 11; 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. for Feb. 14.

Details: The Nicolett, 511 Broadway, will have a multi-course tasting menu, which will last 2.5 hours per seating. The menu offers:

  • Black Sesame Beignet

  • Cured Atlantic Trout Carpaccio ~ Pickled and Roasted Nopales

  • Butter-poached Scallop ~ Rosé Consommé

  • Ravioli ~ Brillat-Savarin

  • House Bread Service

'Til Death Do We Part - Murder Mystery Wine Dinner

Time: 6-9 p.m. Feb. 13 at Burklee Hill Vineyards, 1109 Broadway St.

Details: This entertaining murder mystery event will be accompanied by a five-course gourmet dinner by Chef Bobby Bridges.

Cost: $150 per person.

Woodys Pizza, Grill & Pub

Time: Feb. 10-14 at Woodys, 3135 34th St.

Deal: Guests can order a heart-shaped pizza, two salads, a dessert and two drinks for $50.

Cactus Theater

Time: Doors open at 5 p.m. Feb. 14 at 1812 Buddy Holly Ave.

Details: People wanting to catch food and a show can book a spot at the Cactus' showing of "Sleepless in Seattle." The theater has partnered with MCM Elegante Hotel & Suites, 801 Ave. Q, to offer additional packages that includes meals and a suite.

Cost: There are three packages to choose from:

  • $49 per couple, comes with hors d'oeuvres and the screening.

  • $99 per couple, includes a dinner for two at MCM Elegante Hotel & Suites, 801 Ave. Q at 7:45 p.m., along with everything in the first package. Dinner options include: Beef Tenderloin, Baked Chicken, Broccoli, Loaded baked potatoes, Tossed salad or Caesar salad, Dinner Rolls, Dessert, Water, Coffee, Tea and your choice of red or white wine.

Time: at Lone Star Amphitheater, 602 E. 19th St.

Details: This horror themed Nightmare on 19th Street will get the blood pumping with four attractions of Valentine-themed fun and mayhem.

Cost: $25 for general admission or $40 for VIP. VIP tickets allow people to skip most of the lines.

The Lubbock Chorale Annual Gala

Time: 6:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at the Frazier Alumni Pavilion at Texas Tech.

Details: The Lubbock Chorale will use David Dickau’s setting of the poem “If Music Be the Food of Love” as a centerpiece for this performance. "The choir and soloists will present music of love through arts songs, opera arias, and choral compositions from some of the greatest composers of all time. This concert will include an elegant dinner," according to the site.

Cost: $125 per person.

Valentine's Paint & Sip at Caviel Museum of African American History

Time: 6 p.m. Feb. 10 and Feb. 11 at the Caviel Museum of African American History, 1719 Ave. A.

Details: People can enjoy wine, painting on canvas, music, art, receive a souvenir picture, enjoy charcuterie and desserts.

Cost: $30 per person or $50 for couples.

Valentine's Sip n' Paint at East Lubbock Art House

Time: 6-9 p.m. Feb. 11 or Feb. 14 at the East Lubbock Art House, 405 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

Details: People can create a painting on a 16x20 inch canvas in-person or opt-in for a take-home paint kit. The in-person event will have painting supplies, wine, non-alcoholic beverages, refreshments and live music.

Cost: $35 per person.
