Residence Inn by Marriott set to open Friday near Mohegan Sun Arena
Oct. 5—WILKES-BARRE TWP. — The all-suite, 111-room Residence Inn by Marriott will open for business Friday.
Located at 501 Liberty Plaza, the Residence Inn will operate as a Marriott franchise, owned and managed by Singh Realty LLC, an affiliate of Onvo.
The Residence Inn Wilkes-Barre Arena is located at Exit 168 off Interstate 81, just steps from the Mohegan Sun Arena. The location offers guests convenient access to Downtown Wilkes-Barre, CenterPointe and Hanover Industrial parks, Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, Geisinger Wyoming Valley, and many local attractions such as Mohegan Sun Casino, Wilkes University, Kings College, and other local universities.
Residence Inn by Marriott is a global leader in the extended-stay lodging segment. As an all-suite hotel, Residence Inn offers studio and one-bedroom suites catering to guests staying five days or longer.
