Residents Evacuated as Flooding Submerges Homes in Bedfordshire, England

People in more than 1,300 properties were urged to leave their homes because of the flood risk in Bedfordshire, England, on December 25.

Police said they contacted people living along the River Great Ouse on Christmas Eve as serious flood warnings were issued for the area.

Emergency services rescued people from properties in the area on Christmas Day and emergency assistance centers were set up to provide shelter to residents.
