Resistance in Russian-occupied territories ramp up with explosions in Mariupol and Melitopol

A Russian commander’s car was blown up in Mariupol near the Bakhchivandzhi market (Primorsky district, Budivelnykiv Avenue) at 08:07 a.m., Mariupol Mayor Vadym Boichenko said.

"Mariupol resistance launched a strike in occupied Mariupol, blowing up the car of a top military officer. More details to follow," his message reads.

The occupiers’ so-called “head of police”, Michail Moskvin suffered a concussion after his car exploded when he was a few meters from it, media later reported.

Meanwhile, around five strong explosions were heard in Melitopol the same morning.

A Kremlin “security forces” building, a depot, and a substation were damaged, RIA Melitopol news reported.

The explosions happened near the Joker café and a Russian barracks, said Melitopol Mayor Ivan Fedorov.

Russian security forces have seized several buildings for their own use, said RIA Melitopol.

"The commanders (of the security forces) are located in the seized buildings of a former university – the Melitopol branch of the Zaporizhzhia Institute of Economics and Information Technologies on 50th Anniversary of Victory Avenue. It has been surrounded by a metal fence. These buildings were damaged in the attack," RIA Melitopol wrote.

The explosions damaged the college's dormitory, where the occupiers were housed by the fake "Minister of Education and Science" Olena Shapurova.

No civilians were reported injured as students were on vacation.
