Talk about your upscale-indoor-storage facilities, how about one featuring a bar, restaurant and gaming.

That's what's instore for the new Nestory Park Self Storage site at 8750 North Second St. located at the north end of the old Machesney Park Mall.

There's no word on what bar or restaurant will be moving into the space.

The updates are part of a $7 million development for the Machesney Park mall.

The Machesney Park mall is currently home to multiple businesses, including Big Lots and Burlington Coat Factory.

A JCPenney store used to be located at the mall before closing and eventually being sold by the village in 2021.

More details about the $7 million development are expected to be announced during a ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday.
