Restaurant hours shortened, youth sports canceled in Baltimore County

Amid a spike in coronavirus cases across Maryland, Baltimore County Executive Johnny Olszewski announced Friday new restrictions on restaurants, gatherings and youth sports. With the county's positivity rate, the case rate and hospitalizations shooting too high, too fast, the county executive is clamping down. Starting at midnight Sunday, all gatherings will be limited to 10 people indoors and 25 people outdoors. Additionally, bars and restaurants must close at midnight.
