Restaurant inspections: Delray eatery fails check, makes corrections, reopens the next day
One Palm Beach County restaurant was shut down after failing its state restaurant inspections.
Delray Beach
Coolgreens, 1841 S. Federal Highway, Delray Beach, was ordered closed after an inspection April 11.
It had two high-priority, five intermediate and three basic violations.
The high-priority violations included the presence of small, flying insects.
The restaurant made the necessary corrections and reopened the next day on April 12.
The company later issued this statement:
Our utmost priority is the health and safety of our guests. We fell short of our strict quality standards at one of our locations and we took immediate corrective action to fix those issues reopening 24 hours later, passing the inspection. We have instituted additional safeguards and procedures to ensure that we maintain our high standards every day. The Delray location is now under new management, and we will continue to maintain a clean environment.
