Result: Immediate closure

Observed large amount of dead roaches and mice droppings throughout the kitchen area, mice droppings and dead roaches in the sinks, food equipment such as ice holders and steam tables. Also mice droppings water heater storage area. Observed record of pest elimination services dates, Sept. 2023 that indicates was activity at the Ecencia kitchen facility. An accumulation of dead roaches in the three control glue devices maintained within the kitchen facility at time of inspection.

Facility must make the appropriate correction by Sept. 18 to ensure that the premises is maintained free of insects and provide CHPD documentation of corrections. Facility must immediately make the appropriate correction s to ensure that dead and or trapped insects are removed from the control devices and maintained removed from the control devices at a frequency to prevent their accumulation. Kitchen area must be cleaned and sanitized. Kitchen area must also be sealed off from the banquet and wedding areas.

Observed wall in the kitchen storage water heater area with a hole of two inches in need of repair. Due to the imminent health hazard of mice and roach infestation of the kitchen facility, facility is closed, effective, Sept. 11.

Person in charge state d the kitchen is only used for storage, no food se3rvice. However dining areas in the facility is used for banquets and weddings.

Tingley Beach Café, 1800 Tingley SW (Sept. 12)

Result: Immediate closure

Observed can opener food contact surface not in use with dry soil residue.

Observed evidence of mice droppings in the kitchen area along the sides of the kitchen behind equipment, shelving, around the water heater, under milk crates and on top of the counters where food containers and food service articles were stored. Last visit there by pest control operator was Aug. 23. Invoice stated no findings noted during visits of pests or rodent droppings and no entry points.

Observed containers for the make table not in use with dried on food debris.

Observed drain by the ice machine with excessive soil build up and debris. Observed nine quarter inch holes on walls in need of repair. Holes must be sealed so there is no entry points for pests and for moisture to enter into the wall. Observed heater vent on the east side wall with excessive debris and soil build up.

Due to the imminent health hazard of mice droppings along sides of the kitchen floorings and food counter shelving.

Person in charge stated facility has been closed for two weeks due to no staffing and is planning to open within the next two weeks.
