Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week is in full swing through June 11, and restaurants across the Coachella Valley are offering a bevy of prix fixe menu experiences.

What is Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week?

Greater Palm Springs Restaurant Week is a 10-day series of lunch and dinner specials organized by Visit Greater Palm Springs that helps residents and visitors alike experience eateries throughout the desert's nine cities. The event features prix fixe menus and exclusive special offers only available during the 10-day period, encouraging people to enjoy a night out during a time of year when the valley is experiencing a dip in tourism.

What's the special offer?

Dining deals vary between establishment, but participating restaurants offer a special lunch and/or dinner menu typically organized around this price breakdown:

  • Breakfast/Brunch/Lunch (2+ Items): $15 | $25 | $35 or SPECIAL OFFER

  • Dinner (3+ Items): $39 | $49 | $59 or SPECIAL OFFER

In Palm Springs, you can have lunch at Avalon Hotel’s Chi Chi restaurant for $35.

Lunch menu includes:

  • Starter with a choice of tuna tartare, a Caesar salad or shrimp louie

  • Entrée: mahi mahi tacos, a cheeseburger or penne pasta

At Palm Desert’s new Cowboy Cantina, you can choose between two dinner options exploring the Southwestern flavors the restaurant is becoming known for:

  • Option one ($39)

    • Includes three courses

    • First course: Los Pequitos, aka jalapeño poppers with marmalade dipping sauce, beer batter fried, stuffed with cheese and scallions

    • Second course: Options range from country-style baby back ribs to shrimp diablo, or six large blackened shrimp on a bed of green rice topped with their New Mexico red chile sauce and fire-grilled asparagus

    • Vegan option: The prairie vegan burger

    • Third course (dessert): The “churro adobe” sounds like an epic third course with its cinnamon sugar-dusted churros with chocolate espresso dipping sauce.

  • Option two ($49)

    • Includes a similar three-course menu, but with more BBQ and steak options in the second course, including one of the following:

      • Big daddy’s BBQ platter: 4 ounces of their smoked brisket, 4 ounces of their BBQ pulled pork, two pieces of their smoked baby back ribs, mac and cheese, green chile slaw and a slice of Texas toast

      • 10 oz. prime ribeye: USDA prime bone-in ribeye, griddle butter seared with green chile hollandaise, horseradish mashed potatoes and asparagus stack

      • USDA prime flat iron steak* 8 ounces: cholula butter, avocado salsa verde broiled jalapeño and chile relleno.

At Joy, an Asian-inspired restaurant inside Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, dinner is $49 and includes:

  • Starter 1: Wonton soup with savory broth, delicate dumplings, shaved bok choy and scallions

  • Starter 2: Chicken lettuce cup wraps with minced spiced chicken

  • Entrée: “Joyful family” featuring shrimp, scallops, barbecue pork, Gai Lan (Chinese broccoli), napa cabbage, shiitake mushrooms and carrots in oyster sauce

Select any glass of wine from Joy’s by-the-glass list for an additional $12.

What else do I need to know before dining?

Prices and meal periods vary by restaurant and exclude beverages, tax, and gratuity. Restaurant Week menus are offered during lunch and dinner hours only. No passes, tickets or coupons are required. You simply dine out at participating restaurants throughout the event.

Make a reservation on the event's website or call the restaurant directly. Due to the popularity of this event, advance reservations are strongly encouraged, but walk-ins are welcome. There is no guarantee that walk-in guests will be accommodated.
