After breaking ground at the beginning of the month, the owners of the 14 Mill Market food hall that is coming to Nixa have more clarity on what dining options will be available.

Owners Leah and Rich Callahan got the inspiration for 14 Mill Market after visiting the Mother Road Market in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A food hall is a location where people can order food from different vendors and dine in a large communal space.

The 14 Mill Market will include 10 restaurants and offer games and live entertainment. Leah Callahan said the food hall will be designed for people of all ages.

Here are the 10 restaurants coming to 14 Mill Market:

  • Travellers House Coffee

  • Abby’s Acai Company

  • D'Vine Delicatessen and Wine

  • Queen City Soul Kitchen

  • Fresh Poke

  • Not'cho Ordinary Taco

  • Lindsay’s Kitchen

  • Mac Shakey’s

  • American style burgers and fries concept (name pending)

  • Waffles and crepes concept (name pending)

The Callahans said the restaurants will operate with year-long leases so there could be some changes after the first 12 months.

"We really intentionally wanted restaurants that would not directly compete with each other," Leah Callahan said.

The Callahans said they plan to host bands for live performances and also hold things like trivia nights and musical bingo.

Leah Callahan said she hopes 14 Mill Market can become the solution to the problem many families face where family members are all craving something different for dinner.

"I would just say we want everyone to leave with kind of a culinary satisfaction," she said.
