These Peoria restaurants are open on Christmas, Christmas Eve
After shopping and wrapping gifts, the last thing you may want to do is cook on Christmas Eve.
Fortunately, many restaurants in Peoria and surrounding towns will be open on Dec. 24. Some places, mostly Chinese food restaurants, will be open on Christmas. Here are some options for those days.

Open on Christmas Eve in Peoria
2 Chez Restaurant, 7815 N. Knoxville Ave., will be open Christmas Eve from 5 to 10 p.m.
Alexander's Steakhouse, 100 Alexander Ave., will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Blue Margaritas, 9010 N. Allen Road, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Dac's Smokehouse, 1200 W. Main St., will be open Christmas Eve from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again is offering Christmas egg rolls for carryout. The rolls feature Cajun ham with cheesy potato casserole, with cranberry pepper jam as a dip, and are three for $10.

Hacienda El Mirador, 5805 N. Humboldt Ave. in the Junction City Shopping Center, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Jim's Steak House, 110 SW Jefferson Ave., will be open Christmas Eve from 4 to 8 p.m.
Rizzi's Italian Restaurant at 4613 N. Sheridan Road will be open Christmas Eve from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m.

Suite Fire Bar & Grille, 7601 N. Orange Prairie Road, will be open Christmas Eve from 4 to 8 p.m. and Christmas Day from 6 to 10 a.m.
Thyme Kitchen & Craft Beer, 736 SW Washington St., will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Weaver's Fresh Food and Drink, 7301 N. Radnor Road, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Johnny's Italian Steakhouse at 101 Holiday St. will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. for lunch and from 4 to 9 p.m. for dinner.

The Publik House, 4614 N. Prospect Road, will be open Christmas Eve from 4 to 10 p.m.

The Country Club BBQ, 2510 W. Farmington Road, will be open Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
