On a day when the nation gathers to celebrate the brave military veterans and active duty service members who have sacrificed their lives protecting our country, restaurants across the capital city and nation are doing their part to help serve those who have served us.
Here is a list of just a few restaurants offering free meals Saturday for Veterans Day. Most of these offerings will require proof of service, such as a form of veteran, military, or military-dependent identification and may be limited to dine-in seating only.
Applebee’s
Veterans and active duty service members are being offered a complimentary full-size entrée from a special menu. They will also receive a $5 “Bounce Back Card” that they can redeem for dine-in, To-Go, or delivery within a three-week redemption period.
Bonefish Grill
Veterans and active duty service members can receive a complimentary order of Bang Bang Shrimp with a soft beverage.
Buffalo Wild Wings
Veterans and active-duty service members can receive a free order of 10 boneless wings and fries.
Carrabba’s
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a complimentary dine-in appetizer or dessert paired with a soft beverage.
Charley’s Cheesesteaks
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered gourmet fries in-store.
Chicken Salad Chick
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free meal.
Chili’s
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free meal from a special menu.
Cracker Barrell
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a complimentary dessert.
Dunkin Donuts
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free donut of their choice.
Golden Corral
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free “thank you” meal at the Military Appreciation Night on November 13 hosted by Golden Corral starting at 5 p.m.

Hooters
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free entrée from a special Veterans Day Menu with the purchase of a beverage.
IHOP
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered free Red, White, and Blueberry Pancakes or Pancake Combo on November 11 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Island Fin Poke
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a complimentary poké bowl.
Krispy Kreme
Veterans are being offered a free doughnut and coffee.
Little Caesar’s
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free lunch combo.
Mission BBQ
Veterans are being offered a free sandwich.
Outback Steakhouse
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free “Bloomin' Onion” and beverage with the purchase of an adult entree in-restaurant.
Playa Bowls
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free bowl.
Red Lobster
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The offer can be redeemed beginning November 13 through December 10.
Smoothie King
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free smoothie from one of three red, white and blue smoothies.
Sonny’s BBQ
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a Free Pork Big Deal.
Starbucks
Veterans, active-duty service members and military spouses are being offered a free “tall” (12-ounce) hot or cold brewed coffee.
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered free gyros.
Texas Roadhouse
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a meal voucher from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The vouchers are for dine-in or carry-out orders and have a redemption period until May 30, 2024. For dine-in, veterans and active duty service members can order from a special menu if they plan to use the voucher on the same day.
Village Inn
Veterans and active-duty service members are being offered a free “2-2-2 Breakfast” which includes two eggs, two strips of bacon or two sausage links and two buttermilk pancakes.
