Restuarant of the Week: Four Swords Retro Pub

MARQUETTE, Mich. (WJMN) – Four Swords Retro pub is a new arcade and ramen bar located in downtown Marquette. They offer homemade ramen and the opportunity to play retro arcade games. The pub is owned by Anthony Lewis and his wife Sadie Lewis. For this duo, these are two of their favorite things.

“I have been cooking for 15 years now, and that’s all I have ever done in my life,” said Anthony Lewis, Owner and Chef. ” It is just kind of natural to open a restaurant, two of our favorite things and bring it together.

The food is a labor of love. It takes hours of hard work and dedication to make sure the broth is cooked to perfection, and each ingredient is fresh.

“We make everything fresh,” said Anthony Lewis. “We spend hours making broth and pork belly. Also dealing with distributers, trying to get the best deals and freshest product. We like to keep it simple; I like to think it is a humble food. It is not really a show stopping food for us to make and I thought it would naturally fit with the atmosphere.”

Sadie and Anthony want to community to know they offer something for everyone.

“I would like people to know that there is a little bit of something for everyone,” said Sadie Lewis, Co – Owner. “Whether you are into games, getting into games, or you never have gamed at all… there are a lot of east friendly games that you could play with your friends. If you just want to come and eat ramen, then come and eat ramen.”
