Here are the results of Tuesday's elections in Northeast Louisiana
Voters in Northeast Louisiana participated in midterm elections on Tuesday.
The Sterlington mayoral race will go to runoffs after the leading vote-getter came up eight percentage points short of winning outright. Candidates for the Town of Bernice District 4 alderman seat James Montgomery and Joanna Ward will also go head to head for runoff Dec. 10.
Running unopposed, Mike Johnson and Marcus Hunter retained their seats as representative for 4th Congressional District and judge for the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeal.
Results are complete as of late Tuesday, but unofficial until verified.
Here are the results of all of Tuesday's municipal and mid-term elections in the Northeast Louisiana races. Outright election winners are in Bold and those qualified for a runoff are in Bold Italic.
