New retail shops, including two popular clothing brands, coming to The Summit in Lexington

The Summit at Fritz Farm will soon welcome seven new retailers at the large, mixed-use development off of Nicholasville Road.

In addition to the new stores, two pop-up holiday shops recently opened —Yankee Candle and Brewster’s Christmas.

“Whether it’ s trying out new restaurants, discovering unique shops, or simply enjoying the atmosphere, there are many reasons to be excited about the growth and development of The Summit,” said Anissa Sturgill, marketing manager for The Summit at Fritz Farm.

The new permanent stores that will open in November and in 2024 include:

  • Carhartt, a popular workwear and outdoor retailer, will open in early 2024 in a spot next to Fabletics.

  • California Closets, which designs walk-in closets, entertainment centers, pantries, home offices and more, will open later this year next to Pottery Barn and J. McLaughlin.

  • Lens Crafters, an eye glasses shop, will open in late spring 2024 near Grimaldi’s.

  • Paper Source, a stationery store that includes unique gift wrapping, party and paper supplies, will open in early 2024 next to Shady Rays and the White House Black Market.

  • Rowan, a piercing boutique, will open in April 2024 next to Cru Food & Wine Bar.

  • Urgent Vet, an urgent treatment clinic for cats and dogs for non life-threatening emergencies, will open in January 2024 next to Charles Schwab and Fleet Feet.

  • Wrangler, a longtime jeans outfitter, will open Nov. 13. It will be located next to Lululemon.

The Summit at Fritz Farm includes 300,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space, 300 luxury apartments, a hotel and office space. It opened in 2017.
