One number. That was all a retired truck driver in Salem needed to hit the record $2.04 billion jackpot.

Brooks Keebey, 82, won $1 million from a Powerball ticket on Nov. 7, making him one of two winners in Oregon during the biggest jackpot in lottery history. He matched all five numbers, missing only the Powerball.

"I'm not greedy," Keebey said in a press release from the Oregon Lottery after missing the jackpot.

Keebey purchased $10 worth of Powerball tickets on a whim from TNT Hollywood Tavern.

He plans to use the money to pay property taxes and buy his wife a used Cadillac. The remainder of his winnings will be used to fund the rest of his retirement.

The biggest lottery prize won in the state was in 2005 for a $340 million jackpot, according to the Oregon Lottery.

The Oregon Lottery recommends that you sign the back of your ticket to ensure you can claim any prize. If you win, you have one year to claim the prize.
