The Rev. Mark Ingram is the new pastor at Stewart Road Church.

He replaces the Rev. Keith Hawes, who had served the church for 4½ years.

Ingram of Bailey, North Carolina, is an ordained minister for Team Work Ministries and an ordained bishop in the Church of God. He has been a pastor for 20 years, most recently serving MidPoint Church of God in Middlesex, North Carolina. He also had been a lead pastor in Wichita, Kansas, and Kuwait and an associate pastor in Danville, Virginia. Before that, he was a United Parcel Service supervisor and a sergeant in the Army Reserve.

Ingram has a Master of Theology degree from Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia, and a bachelor's degree in religion from Liberty. He also received a pastoral studies diploma from Valor Christian College, Columbus, Ohio.

Ingram has had experience in preaching, church planting and revitalization, and leadership.

He and his wife of 22 years, Christi, have two children, ages 19 and 17.
