What is the Cuisinart AirFryer Toaster Oven, anyway?
Thanks to its very literal title, Cuisinart’s take on the air fryer is pretty easy to understand right off the bat: It’s an air fryer and a toaster oven. Straight to the point — we like it.
But, if you want to get a little more technical about it, it’s primarily a toaster oven, just with an air fryer component built-in. You get the best of both worlds here, and not a lot of devices of its kind can say the same. In addition to creating crispy, beige-colored snacks, you’ll also be able to bake, broil, and toast, among other things.
It's the healthier way to fry foods, as it doesn't use nearly as much oil as a regular deep fryer (you're essentially baking your ingredients). It instead employs ultra hot air to do the work. Cuisinart's appliance is also large enough to handle foods like small pizzas, chicken, and more, which is a rarity among air fryers. The 1800-watt device has simple knob controls, an adjustable thermostat, a non-stick interior, as well as an oven rack, baking pan, and fry basket.

What do people not like about it?
It's not all roses — there are a few common complaints that surround the AirFryer Toaster oven, mostly referencing the easily breakable dials (a touch screen would have been nice), and the fact that none of the parts are dishwasher-safe. Keep in mind, not everyone ran into problems, but enough of them did to warrant some caution.

So yeah, if you sit and monitor you're food as it cooks, you should be safe — but it's a bit inconvenient compared to other air fryers. You'll have to decide if that trade-off for space and versatility is worth it for you.
