Reward offered for information leading to whereabouts of missing Granite City man

The family of a missing 32-year-old Granite City man is offering a $2,000 reward for information that leads to his whereabouts.

Joshua Amos was last seen Sunday in a surveillance video at Scarlet Strip Club in Washington Park, according to his mother, Christine Simpson.

“He was leaving there at 5 a.m. We have not seen him since,” she said. “We are frantic with worry. This is not like him.”

The poster offering the reward states he may have received a ride from someone or walked away from the club. Simpson said family members and the Washington Park police are searching for Amos.

She said Amos is bipolar and has been in rehab for chemical addiction. Simpson described Amos as being charming, fun, outgoing, talkative, good looking and athletically built.

The poster offering the reward states he was wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans and black Adidas shoes. He is 5 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 190-195 pounds. He has tatoos on his chest, left and right biceps and lower arms.

The poster states that anyone with information should call 618-967-1027, 618-219-0830, 618-866-3772.
