Rhinehart finishes second, C-M boys fourth at W-G Quad

Apr. 17—WOODWARD — Jason Rhinehart was the runner-up medalist for Colfax-Mingo's boys golf team on Tuesday, but the Tigerhawks finished fourth in the four-team Woodward-Granger Quad.

Rhinehart shot an 86 at the par-70 Woodward Golf and Country Club. Saydel's Luke Vitiritto was the medalist with an 82.

Colfax-Minho shot a 441 to finish fourth. Host Woodward-Granger put two in the top five and four in the top nine to win with a 384.

Saydel placed two in the top five and scored a 399 in second, while Earlham had four of the top 11 and finished third with a 403.

Rhinehart's round included three pars and a birdie on No. 13.

Shane Aikin (112), Jake Nichols (115) and Cale Duffy (128) were the other three scorers and Cavan Magnuson (131) had a non-counting score.
